This hand-carved table from Nagaland, India was originally used by the Naga tribes of North East India as a grinding table, for grains such as millet. The two holes within the center are where the grains would be held and ground using long poles. The wood is rich, and dark brown with a stunning patina. The specialty of this table is that it has been carved out of a single log of wood.
