Vintage Wooden Damchiya:
‘Dhamchiya’ or ‘Damchiya’ is what was an Indian bride’s dresser used in earlier times. Most commonly used in Indian states of Rajasthan and Gujarat, these furniture pieces were used as hope chests to store a bride’s dowry and after the wedding, these were used for storing clothes and other valuables. In modern times like ours, they make for great show stoppers in our hallways and can also be used as kitchen cabinets, or as bed linen storage etc.
These are purely vintage antique articles and hence please expect slight variations in colour and texture and natural wear on the material due to age. Clean it with a dry or wet cloth.
